We’re KOMODO, a brand born in 2024 from the vibrant fusion of Bali’s tropical charm and the energy of New York City. We’re not just a company—we’re a collective of artists creating tools for fellow creators, designed to inspire and elevate the artistic journey.
Our story began during the pandemic, when founders Adrian and Joshua joined forces on various creative projects, including an illustrative NFT series. As the world reopened, Adrian made Bali his home, while Joshua journeyed to New York. Despite the miles between us, our passion for art kept us connected, driving us to create something meaningful.
Adrian, a New York-born illustrator, and Joshua, a British-born urban sketcher, founded KOMODO out of a shared love for art and travel. With backgrounds rooted in different parts of the world, we bring diverse perspectives to our designs, creating tools that cater to the needs of traveling artists and creatives.
